Reporting to the Vice President, Health & Operational Services the incumbent will work closely with University service and academic leadership to support the Aga Khan University in planning and implementing emerging initiatives in Kabul;  and to coordinate inter-agency efforts to integrate health delivery systems under the strategic guidance of the Operational Committee for Central Asia.

The incumbent will be responsible for:

• Receiving cash from customers and reconciling cash balance at the time of closing of Gift Shop;
• Keeping updated record of bills, receipts and credit sales to departments;
• Reordering items from suppliers, checking prices of the products charged and counting the quantities received;
• Ensuring safe custody of fixed assets and inventory at the warehouse of the Gift Shop;

• Designing modifications to existing premises which includes helping users formulate user requirements;
• Preparing schematic and detailed designs on CAD which are fully coordinated for engineering services including HVAC, plumbing, medical gases and electrical requirements;
